Intro
Join our team as a Powerplant Engineer and support the continued airworthiness and technical management of aircraft engines and APUs. You will focus on engine performance monitoring, life-limited component control, airworthiness compliance, maintenance planning, and coordination with OEMs and maintenance organizations. In addition, you will provide technical engineering support while contributing to the safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective operation of the fleet.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) programs, analyze engine performance data, and provide technical recommendations.
- Control and track life-limited, hard-time, and time-controlled engine and APU components, ensuring accurate records and traceability.
- Manage back-to-birth records, technical documentation, and configuration data for engines, APUs, and associated components.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Mandatory Service Bulletins, Operational Directives, and other airworthiness requirements.
- Review non-mandatory Service Bulletins and provide recommendations based on safety, reliability, operational, and economic considerations.
- Provide engineering and technical support to maintenance teams for engine and APU troubleshooting, configuration, and component applicability.
- Liaise with OEMs, repair organizations, and other technical stakeholders to resolve powerplant-related issues and obtain engineering support.
- Plan and coordinate engine shop visits, maintenance activities, engine removals/installations, and related work scope requirements.
- Support reliability investigations, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve fleet performance.
- Maintain accurate engineering and maintenance records, support audits and airworthiness reviews, and monitor relevant regulatory, OEM, and industry developments.
We expect You to have:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge of EASA Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-145, and continuing airworthiness requirements.
- Good understanding of gas turbine engines CFM56-5B/7B and V2500, APUs, engine performance monitoring.
- Experience with maintenance information systems, preferably OASES.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret OEM technical documentation, maintenance manuals, Service Bulletins, and Airworthiness Directives.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Any Powerplant related trainings will be considered as an advantage.
